Our Story
Don Crosen began his home building business in 1981. After working as the director of construction for a home building and development company for most of the 1970s, Don decided to forgo working for a large production building company and venture out on his own. Lead by Don with lots of help from wife, Leslie, family and friends, many long nights and weekends, Crosen Homes has become one of the most solid and reputable Home Builder and Remodeling company in the Howard County area.
Crosen Homes believes the success of a new home and remodel is dependent upon a team of talented and dedicated employees and subcontractors that take pride in their work. We always strive to deliver a finished product that we can proudly put our name on.
Crosen Homes has built their reputation on delivering a quality product to their clients. This has allowed Crosen Homes continued success for so many clients, their friends and their family members on a repeat basis. “Our referrals and repeat clients continue to grow. There is no better compliment than when a past client calls and says, ‘You built our home 15 years ago, and now we are ready for a new home or addition.’
We believe the basic principle has remained the same from the early days to the present in completing a quality product while guiding our clients though the building process in fulfilling their visions. As the market constantly changes, we have changed with it. From smaller homes and remodels, to the large scale homes and projects, and into the “Green” standards, we have committed to providing solutions for all of our clients.

Leadership
Mike Crosen / Owner
Mike Crosen has been in the building industry for over 30 years. He grew up helping his father Don on the job site at a young age and picked up valuable skills and knowledge from him. Mike has worked for regional builders and has been in charge of multi-family, condos, townhouses, and single-family homes. He has extensive experience in the industry and is passionate about creating beautiful and functional spaces for his clients.
As the son of a long-time custom builder, Mike has a deep understanding of the industry and has honed his skills over the years. He is committed to providing high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service to his clients. Mike’s expertise in the industry has earned him a reputation as a reliable and trustworthy builder.
One of the things you will find is Mike’s desire to allow his clients to not only express their expectations but play an active role in those expectations being accomplished. Mike really enjoys the collaborative approach to making your idea become a reality.
